The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), enacted by Congress in October 1998, requires the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to establish and enforce regulations regarding the online privacy of children. The purpose of COPPA is to give parents control over the information collected from their children online. Wolverine State Credit Union does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Our website is not intended to collect or use such information without verifiable parental consent.

Wolverine State Credit Union offers two children’s programs on our website: The Wolverine Kit Club for children ages 0-11 and The Wolverine Smart Savers for children ages 12-17. No personal information is collected from children to participate in the youth programs unless applying for membership. Personal information may include a child’s name, address, email, telephone, Social Security number or other information that directly identifies the child.

Wolverine State Credit Union does not share children’s personal information with third parties except as permitted or required by law or to process membership applications. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information.
